Cody Simpson along with his professional dancing partner Witney Carson offered up some great music on Tuesday night for the fans of “Dancing With the Stars.” The entertainer was knocked out early during the competition, but he returned and as a gift to the fans he performed his hit singleSurfboard.” According to Just Jared Jr on Tuesday, he also showed off his slick dance moves while singing.

As fans were disappointed when the star was eliminated early on, Cody kept his focus on trying to get as far as possible. With a grueling rehearsal routine and lots of choreography, the star didn't measure up to an athlete like Meryl Davis, but he did quite well none the less. Looking back at the progress, the fans had to be delighted to see he really did well overall.

While the “Dancing With the Stars” finale offers a look at all the contestants of the season, it appeared that Cody Simpson stood out from the rest. The only entertainer who also was part of this year’s competition, the star had a double duty (and he did it very well.) It was an impressive performance on the reality show.

According to PopCrush on Tuesday, Cody Simpson nearly stole the show with his performance of “Surfboard.” Dressed in a simple black jacket and white T-shirt, the artist played the guitar as the dancers behind him offered up a visual interpretation of the music. Then he grabbed his partner and reminded the fans that he could dance too.

Take a look at the video clip of Cody Simpson performing on “Dancing With the Stars.” While the fans are disappointed he didn't win, there wasn't any doubt that seeing him several weeks in a row was a big treat. Of course the "Dancing With the Stars" winner was an athlete who won a gold medal, so Cody has to be delighted he did well in the competition as Meryl Davis already had prior experience.
