Cody Simpson and James Maslow joins Dancing with the Stars

On Tuesday, March 4, Good Morning America announced the list of the twelve stars and their dancing pro partners competing for the on the 18th season of Dancing with the Stars.

Music artists joining the cast this season includes singers Cody Simpson and James Maslow of the band Big Time Rush.

Simpson is an Australian pop singer. He recently released “The Acoustic Sessions” EP. His 2013’s “Surfers Paradise” that debuted in top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart. He recently finished a tour opening up for Justin Bieber.

He is 17, and will dance with newcomer Witney Carson. Carson danced on the show last year as part of the dance troupe, and was a Top 10 finalist of Season 9 of "So You Think You Can Dance".

Maslow is the a member of the boy band Big Time Rush. He is 23, and will dance with Peta Murgatroyd. Maslow stars on the hit television series also called “Big Time Rush” His group has headlined sold out tours across the world.

The new season begins on Monday, March 17 th 8 p.m. on ABC. Tom Bergeron returns as host with Erin Andrews as his new co host.

Amber Riley was the winner of Season 17 with her pro dancer partner Derek Hough.
