Cody Jamieson named NLL Offensive Player of the Week

Rochester Knighthawk Cody Jamieson was named the National Lacrosse League's Offensive Player of the Week for Week Six of the regular season. The Knighthawks played two games last weekend (both wins) and Jamieson registered 16 total points (5G + 11A).

Jammer had seven points (3G + 4A) in Rochester's first game against Philadelphia and then nine points (2G + 7A) in their win over the Bandits on Saturday. His seven assists were a career high. Jamieson currently leads the Knighthawks and is ranked fourth in the league with 33 points.

Other NLL player awards from Week Six include...

Tyler Hass from the Minnesota Swarm was named the NLL Transition Player of the Week. He had three goals, including the game-winning goal, against Toronto.

Washington Stealth goalie Tyler Richards won Defensive Player of the Week with 51 saves, a 6.00 GAA, and .895 save percentage. He also added in an assist.

Mitch McMichael from the Washington Stealth won Rookie of the Week honors after scoring two goals in the Stealth's win over the Colorado Mammoth.
