Cody Bollinger, who trains at Millennia MMA in Rancho Cucamonga, gets some significant face time on Episode 7 of The Ultimate Fighter 18. In Episode 7, viewers see Bollinger get very emotional, and they even find out which fighter in the TUF house he will fight.
Viewers find out in the beginning of Episode 7 that many fighters in the TUF house are getting homesick. It is especially difficult for some of the male fighters on Father’s Day. Riverside County’s Ronda Rousey, however, visits the house and gives gifts to the fathers in the house. When Rousey gives Bollinger a gift, he is so touched that he finds a place in the house to be alone and cries.
Bollinger says, “I miss my family…I miss my little girl. I miss my wife so much.”
In Episode 7, Team Tate’s Josh Hill fights Team Rousey’s Mike Wootten. Hill threatens Wootten with a rear naked choke in the first round, but Wootton defends the choke. In the second round, Hill is not as successful. Wootten does enough damage from striking range and from the clinch to force a third round. Wootten finishes the third round throwing ground strikes and wins a decision.
After Wootten’s victory, two fights are announced. Cody Bollinger will face Anthony Gutierrez, and Peggy Morgan will fight Sarah Moras.
