We put the story out and animal lovers jumped in to help. Catarina is a local APBE reader and couldn’t let Coco die.
Catarina literally jumped into her car and drove to the multi-million dollar facility to save Coco.
PHS made her sign liability waivers saying Coco was ‘unadoptable’ before rushing them both out the door....but not before they charged this wonderful person $140 for adoption fees!
Reunion Rescue and the American Pit Bull Examiner are reaching out for help. A chip in fund is being collected to pay for Coco’s training with Bob Gutierrez of a Better Way Dog Training who’s trained all the Reunion dogs since Reunion Rescue’s early days many years ago.
Please share Coco’s story and consider a small donation to help this wonderful local citizen who’s doing the work her county is being paid to do.
Chip in for Coco’s life:
Catarina currently has Coco crated and is following the Reunion Rescue protocol published on our Health Page, detox protocol. This story is mindful of Gigi, another Peninsula Humane pittie we so long ago rescued. Gigi was deemed unadoptable, too, but went on to obtain her A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen certification.
Please visit Coco’s Facebook page and please share your opinions and ideas below this story in the comment section.
