If you feel like a cocktail but need a little break from the bars, the ninth annual Cocktails in the Garden has kicked off another season. This weeks theme was "Hydrangeas and Highballs."

The weekly event spotlights the new 600-foot-long Canopy Walk, a suspension bridge extending from the Visitor Center into the woodland garden.

Libations are served from the treetops of the 40-foot-tall canopy and light bites served while guests enjoyed live music. Cash bars are available at several locations throughout the Garden.

Also new at the Garden is the Cascades Garden made up of three waterfalls and the Edible Garden. Other upcoming garden-and-drink pairings include "Edibles & Infusions" and "Tropicals and Tipsy Teas."

Cocktails in the Garden are held every Thursday evening from May through September. Admission is $15. Garden members are admitted free.
