A howling time was had at last night’s Cocktails that Care Presents a Barktastic Night for Two Causes at Libation. Socialites and NYC icons from Toddlers in Tiaras to drag queens came to support Bideawee and Maura Kelley’s new Off-Broadway play “Dog Park” which will premier on January 25. The evening was also filmed for reality show Jersey Couture.
The party was hosted by Bridget O’Brien and Tiffany Troiano, the co-founders of Cocktails that Care, and emceed by Brian McMullan, host of $9.99. In attendance was the cast of Dog Park, several of NYC life’s “Doggie Moms”, American Idol’s Julie Zorrilla, Toddlers and Tiara's Isabella Barrett, and Jersey Couture’s Anthony Scali.
Also spotted on the scene was TV personality Cognac Wellerlane, socialites Leesa Rowland, Jane Pontarelli and EricAndrew, Scott Giannotti of Hydroswag, fashion blogger Janelle Korcheck, Anthony Rubio of Bandit Rubio Designs, Roberto Negrin of Hec-Lin Designs and dog groomer/designer Olga Zabelinskaya. Only one pup was in attendance, but there was one nicely built man whose body was painted like a dog.
Entertainment was provided by Harry Moeller, Xtah C, Kyle Peterson, Christy Thompson, and Carla Rhodes. Happy Hour was sponsored by Bootlegger Vodka with appetizers by Libation. Vendors included Spoil Me Rotten Dog Biscuits, Pawsitively Natural Dog Goodies, Doggini, Ping and Sassy Clothing Boutique, Holy Bauble Jewelry, Mina D Jewelry, Yes Chocolates, and Olga the Pet Psychic.
You can still support these two barktastic causes if you were unable to make the event. Send your online donations to Bideawee here. Tickets for “Dog Park” are available here.
