Orange Street Cats is a cat rescue organization in the Albany, NY area. It was founded a few years ago when a group of animal advocates sought to rescue about 100 cats from a hoarding situation in an Albany house that was scheduled for demolition. The animals were all eventually rescued and most have long been adopted into permanent homes. The group of now friends and animal advocates decided to continue cat rescue and advocacy work and formally founded the organization.
