The new fall menu at Central 214 is inspired by cold weather flavors and festive holiday meals. Executive Chef Blythe Beck is offering culinary creations such as diver scallops with pumpkin gnocchi and steamed mussels with duck bacon sausage.
“Our new fall menu is inspired by cold weather, fall flavors and the excitement of the holidays spent with family and friends,” Beck said. “This is my favorite time of the year to cook and to eat, and it warms my heart to create and share these dishes with our diners.”
Central 214 and other Kimpton restaurants are featuring three new Red Ribbon-themed “Cocktails for a Cure” through December 2. For each Cocktails for a Cure purchase, the restaurant will donate $1 to the Resource Center Dallas.
Kimpton’s mixologist Jacques Bezuidenhout created the cocktails. The three cocktails are Rouge, Ruby Red and VS Smash. The VS Smash is made with Hennessy VS, Grand Marnier, Tawny Port, and lemon juice muddled with pineapple and dusted with grated nutmeg.
To try Beck’s cuisine or Bezuidenhout’s cocktails, visit Central 214, adjacent to Kimpton’s Hotel Palomar Dallas. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Weekend brunch is also available. For reservations, call 214-443-9339.
Kimpton wants to help visitors wrap up holiday shopping early. Throughout November and December, 10 percent of the sale of holiday gift certificates to Kimpton restaurants will benefit Red Ribbon charities nationwide. Central 214 contributions go to Resource Center Dallas.
