A $500 reward has been offered by the SPCA to anyone with information regarding a severely neglected cocker spaniel who was found stuffed inside a sealed garbage bag in Wall Township, NJ.
The dog, described as an older, golden colored cocker spaniel was found on Thursday, March 14th, inside a sealed garbage bag on the side of Belmar Boulevard. 12 News NJ reported that the dog was found by Keith Morgan and his wife and was taken to the Associated Humane Society where his treatment began. The dog, who was named Morgan after the couple who saved him, was so matted that it had probably been a long time since he could so much as walk normally.
Morgan, so far, has survive his ordeal, but he is in critical condition. It is unknown whether he will survive, but he has been cleaned up and is currently on a feeding tube in an attempt to save his life.
