A familiar Chicago trio normally heard on WGN radio will be face-to-face with the audience this Saturday at 7pm at the Copley Theatre in Aurora.
Cochran's Comedy Tour is a group of three local morning comedians that are brandishing their wit and charm for a series of stand-up comedy acts in and around the Chicagoland area.
The tour comes to the Copley Theatre this Saturday and features: Steve Cochran -- stand-up comedian and host of WGN radio's Steve Cochran which can be heard weekdays 5-9am; along with John DaCosse -- funny man sidekick to Steve Cochran on the morning show as well as stand-up comedian in the evenings; and also Pat McGann -- a member of WGN radio and ESPN's Sports Talk Live. Pat is also host of The Chicago Stand-Up Project as well as a regular on ABC's Windy City Live.
The tour was started by Steve Cochran last year when it was unclear whether Cochran would return to working in radio after his contract with WGN was not renewed in 2010. He had been working with the station since 2001.
While the three are talented in the broadcasting medium, they all had a flare for stand-up comedy and Cochran thought combining their acts together in one show could only make them stronger. The trio have played numerous comedy clubs throughout the Chicagoland area since the tour began.
Cochran's Comedy Tour will be playing at 7pm this Saturday at the Copley Theatre in downtown Aurora. Tickets are $32 each. For more information call 630-896-6666 or visit www.paramountaurora.com.
