According to IGN on Friday, Cobie Smulders, known for her roles on "How I Met Your Mother", "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", and Agent Maria Hill in ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", will be making her appearance on next week's episode. With only two episodes left, things are getting tense as Skye helplessly hops "the bus" with the love smitten Agent Ward, Agent Phil Coulson and friends are stranded at the secret base where Agent Eric Koenig, played by Patton Oswalt, took them under his wing, and Coulson's encounter with his long lost love as he protects her against the villainous Blackout.

Future previews of the show reveals Agent Hill and General Glenn Talbot, played by Adrian Pasdar, rendezvousing with Coulson's crew. Though, people may have wondered about her whereabouts when she was seen at the end of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" in some kind of job interview versus her making an appearance to retrieve Coulson. The two are highly experienced agents, but with the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization disbanded and all memory of them wiped from the database, one may wonder if they are able to get it up and running once again.

Recent artwork as shown on Entertainment Weekly teases Deathlock in the background. Also it shows Skye clutching onto Agent Ward as he grasps his own heart. One may think that she still cares for him no matter how much he considers himself to be a bad man. Fans may thing he'll go back to being a "good guy", however, Hydra is not known for such things due to its rather cultish mentality. Considering Ward has been in league with such a sleeper cell organization since the end of World War II one could figure Ward is stuck in the "dark side".

To see how it all ends up, watch the season's second to last episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." next Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST.
