Cobb County police in search of home robbery suspects

Cobb County Police are looking for two men that allegedly broke into a Southwest Marietta home last week, looking for valuables.

According to Officer Mike Bowman, two males entered a home off of Hicks Street at around 7:43 pm last Friday by forcing their way through the door. While inside, they purportedly made the victims remain in a bedroom while they ransacked the home. Several unknown items were taken before the two culprits left.

One of the suspects is described as a black male, standing around 5-feet-11 inches tall with a strong, muscular build. He was carrying a semi-automatic handgun and was last seen wearing a ski mask, black pants and a black sweatshirt.

The second suspect, a black male, was last seen wearing a navy blue hoodie, dark jeans or jogging pants and also wearing a ski mask. He was carrying a black semi-automatic handgun. He is a black male, standing around 5-feet-8 inches tall with a medium, thin build.

Police continue to investigate the incident and urge anyone with any information to call the Cobb County Detective Bureau at 770-499-3945.
