The Coatesville Farmers Market is now located at the Brandywine Hospital. The market has new hours, running from 2-6pm on Wednesdays now through October. New and old vendors will be offering local goods throughout the summer. Vollmecke Orchards and CSA will bring their fruits and vegetables (this week fresh greens, strawberries, and rhubarb). Freedom Acres will offer their pasture raised chicken and turkey. Lone Star Farm produces and markets their own beef. (This week beef sticks and jerky are on the menu.) Nomadic pies will offer savory and sweet pies. (This week’s special is strawberry rhubarb pie.) Black Walnut Winery of Sadsburyville will bring their local wines. (This week’s selection includes Sauvignon Blanc, Vidal Blanc, and Bank Barn Red to name a few.) Sunset Park makes their own gluten-free and vegan cookies, and Sweet Salvation Truffles creates artisan truffles. Additionally, MacDougall’s Irish Victory Cakes, Taste of Puebla, That Pop Shop, Botanical Bubbles, as well as community partners American & African Youth Leadership Foundation and Chester County Master Gardeners will be on hand. The new location of the market location is 201 Reeceville Rd, right off the bypass to the right of the main hospital entrance.
