The economy is made up of consumers (buyers) and businesses (sellers). What makes the economy move is a demand for a product. It takes energy to run an economy such as coal fired plants producing electricity for businesses and homes, even electric cars are energized from the electricity produced by coal fired plants.
Today, the federal government has placed and enforced various regulatory (rules) on how coal is burned to produce electricity. There have been additional job killing anti-pollutant regulations to slow Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions by coal fired plants. Coal miners have suffered job loss as the result of these unnecessary regulations as well. Since Obama and his Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) appointed staff first took office in 2009 coal fired plants have struggled to meet the emission guidelines.
Many coal fired generators will shut down because they cannot meet the draconian guidelines the EPA has placed on them. The plants that use coal to make electricity must transfer the price of doing business on to other businesses and you. These plants have to charge more for energy usage which translates into higher electricity bills to include products and services.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) has been around a long time, even when the earth was once a hot molten place. There was a Carbon Dioxide atmosphere when the earth was first formed but the Global Warming community believes man is destroying the earth through CO2 emissions. If CO2 is the danger then why did the earth move past its molten and gaseous state to an enriched oxygen planet? Based on the above linked National Geographic video it is doubtful man could ever provide a comparable ounce of CO2 that was once abundant in the early stages of the earth and still oxygen was produced.
Today, manufactures of food, clothing and appliances etc., must charge more because of rising electricity costs due to the additional unnecessary EPA regulations of burning coal. Of course, this means businesses that you buy from must charge more for those products that manufactures make. It doesn’t take long to realize that placing stiff anti-pollutant regulations on coal fired plants crosses over into every aspect of our daily lives.
The additional unnecessary EPA regulations that are causing high prices for all products, such as food, gas and electric are based on flawed Global Warming claims. A couple of years ago it was discovered in emails that those who did the research on Global Warming lied about it, which proved that CO2 producing products such as natural gas, gasoline and coal are not causing Global Warming. Maybe this is why Obama has no problem taking so many vacations to play golf in a massive fuel guzzling CO2 emitting 4 engine 747 aircraft.
If you are wondering why jobs and the economy are slow to come around and why so many people are out of work, maybe we should look no further than the EPA. The EPA with its draconian regulations is destroying our economy, which provides products, services and jobs to and for our citizens. Maybe, this is the vehicle (EPA) Obama is using to bust up our nation into a socialistic totally controlled state, destroying what is left of our free market economy, sweeping it right out the door.
If you want to spend less of your money on food and clothing etc., keep your job or even get a job because of unemployment, then maybe you should contact your congressional representative. Tell them that the additional anti-pollutant regulations placed on coal fired plants transfers costs to you in all the products that businesses produce and sell, such as food, electricity and clothing. Tell them it is costing our citizens dearly for daily living needs and in jobs.
Time is running out and at some point with all the plants closing the demand by consumers for basic electricity may well exceed the capacity for coal fired plants to provide. Will there be brownouts in various parts of our nation because the capacity of the coal fired plants still operating cannot meet the demand?
