So if most coaching is done one on one, group coaching has been the secret tool for many companies and individuals.  Why is it such successful tool with little to no coverage?

Group Coaching, Using Group Synergy For The Individual.  Group coaching is a well known modality to a few and deserves a closer look.  For one thing, group coaching is an affordable way to get a first hand feel as to what coaching is.  The idea behind group coaching, contrary to facilitating groups is that its emphasis is on the individual within the group.  This makes it a powerful tool.

Shared Goal Within A Group.  If you take time to think about it, 7 to 9 people coming together in a group sharing the same goal is a powerful force to be reckon with.  Not only you get the same amount of time and coaching but you also get an incredible amount of support via the group, all working toward the same goal.

Group coaches will usually give more input and direction than in a regular group.  Also, a well trained group coach will make specific requests of the participants.

So what's in it for the participants?  Generally speaking, participants feel they don't have to be lone ranger.   Not only is group coaching more affordable, participants can listen and learn from others without being pressured to answer everything.  They learn from others and participate when they need to.

What's in it for companies?  Companies can find group coaching to be extremely valuable.  Company group coaching promotes powerful group synergy, while sharing knowledge exponentially, as well as it promotes bonding skills.
