A trio of college wrestling coaches – plus a NCAA heavyweight champ who is now an honored member of the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame – will be among the guests on Takedown Wrestling this Saturday, Oct. 12, the weekly radio broadcast announced Thursday.
Join Scott Casber, Brad Johnson and award-winning wrestling writer Dan McCool live this Saturday 9-11 a.m. Central and 10 a.m.-noon Eastern.
Opening the two-hour broadcast will be Pat Popolizio, head wrestling coach at North Carolina State… followed by Joe Russell, head coach at George Mason University, host of the 2013 NWCA All-Star Classic Nov. 2.
Kicking off the second hour is Curley Culp, 1967 NCAA heavyweight champ for Arizona State who went on to a brilliant NFL career that culminated in his being welcomed into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this summer. At 10:20, the featured guest will be Virginia Tech head coach Kevin Dresser… followed at 10:30 by coach and instructional author Bill Welker.
