The broadcast kicks off with Joe LeBlanc, new assistant coach at the University of Northern Colorado, who’s traveling cross-country with three sons, all under age 4. At 9:15, University at Buffalo head coach John Stutzman will talk about the upcoming season for his Buffalo Bulls… followed at 9:35 by Deron Winn, a two-time Junior College national champion at St. Louis-Meremac and 2016 Olympic hopeful at 96 kilos, now training at the Cyclone Wrestling Club.
The prime focus of the second hour is a tribute to Robert Gaudenzi, retired head coach at New York’s Hunter College. Gaudenzi takes the mic at 10:00 a.m. to share his memories of 30 years at the helm. Later, the show will welcome two of Gaudenzi’s wrestlers: at 10:20 he’ll be joined by Bruce Haberli, now coach at New York University, followed at 10:35 by Jon Tush, now heading up the New York Athletic Club’s wrestling program.
