College wrestling coaches Steve Garland, Kerry McCoy, Scott Goodale and Chris Bono are among the guests scheduled for Takedown Wrestling this Saturday, June 14, the weekly broadcast announced via email Wednesday.

Join Scott Casber, Steve Foster, Tim Harms and Brad Johnson live this Saturday 9-11 a.m. Central and 10 a.m.-noon Eastern live on KXNO.com, TakedownRadio.com, and I HeartRadio.com.

The broadcast opens with Mark Palmer, College Wrestling Examiner and senior writer at InterMat, who will talk about the state of college wrestling right now, including all the changes in coaching staffs across the nation. At 9:20, Steve Garland, head coach at the University of Virginia, who can boast of the best recruiting classes of the year… followed at 9:30 by Joel Allen, who will be conducting his “Iron Sharpens Iron” Wrestling Camps in DeWitt, Iowa from June 24-27, and in Normal, Ill. from July 8-11. Closing out the first hour will be Joey Boyens, founder of Max Muscle in Des Moines, with the weekly Max Muscle Nutrition Update.

Hour Two starts with Kerry McCoy, one of the all-time great “big men” of college and freestyle wrestling, who heads up the University of Maryland wrestling program that’ll be joining the Big Ten this fall. At 10:20, Scott Goodale, head coach at Rutgers, will also provide a preview of his team’s first year in the Big Ten. (With the addition of the Terps and the Scarlet Knights, it’ll be the Big 14.) Wrapping up the broadcast at 10:35 is South Dakota State head coach Chris Bono, who has plenty of good news to share about the Jacks.
