Coachella Lineup Revealed

Southern California's epic Coachella Music and Arts Festival returns for its 11th year and this incarnation promises to deliver a massive aural hit regardless of your tastes. From April 16th-April 18th, legends and newbies of most genres come together in Indio, California. The heavy hitters this time out are Jay-Z (closing out Friday the 16th), Muse (Saturday the 17th) and Gorillaz (Sunday the 18th). And that's just the start. Each day is loaded with everything from new rock supergroups (Them Crooked Vultures) to indie darlings (LCD Soundsystem) to soul-funk pioneers (Sly & the Family Stone, Gil Scott-Heron).

Other acts by day that are sure to bring down the house (or at least a crowd or two) are summed up below:

Friday, April 16th: Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear, the Specials, Public Image Limited, Echo and the Bunnymen, Fever Ray, Yeasayer, She & Him, Grace Jones

Saturday, April 17th: Faith No More, MGMT, Devo, Hot Chip, Major Lazer, Dirty Projectors, the xx, John Waters

Sunday, April 18th: Pavement, Thom Yorke ????, De La Soul, Phoenix, Orbital, Gary Numan
