The Coachella 2014 lineup and tickets information has been recently released for music fans wishing to attend the festival of live music in Souther California. Among this year's hip hop performers will be A$AP Ferg, Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, Nas, and a highly-anticipated reunion of hip hop legends, Outkast. The group is set to headline the event on dates when The Replacements, Ellie Goulding and AFI will also be a part of the lineup.

According to a Jan. 8 report via SPIN.com, other headliners for the other show dates will be Muse and Arcade Fire. Other big name acts that will be a part of the various concert dates include DJ Skrillex, Lorde, Calvin Harris, Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, Lana Del Rey and Motorhead. The concert dates listed on the show poster are Friday, April 11 & 18, Saturday, April 12 & 19, and Sunday, April 13 & 20, making for two separate three-day weekends of music and entertainment.

Outkast is scheduled to perform on the April 11 and 18th show dates. The hip hop duo, consisting of Big Boi and Andre 3000, has been working on their own solo projects, although Big Boi has released more albums and songs on his own since the two stopped releasing albums together. Andre 3000 has become one of the more-coveted and enjoyable solo artists appearing on cameo spots for other musicians, with many fans anticipating some sort of solo album release from him.

The two last released the album “Idlewild” together in 2007, with Big Boi releasing “Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” on his own after that. In early 2013, the duo appeared together again on a remix of the song “Pink Matter” by Frank Ocean. Among their collaborative library of hits are songs like "Rosa Parks," "Elevators," and "Miss Jackson," as well as albums "ATLiens," "Stankonia," and "Aquemini." The duo’s double LP “Speakerboxx/The Love Below” reached critical acclaim and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2004.

As mentioned, other hip hop acts will also be a part of the various show dates. Solo performer A$AP Ferg hits the stage on the same dates as Outkast. Rapper Nas, well known for his first solo album "Illmatic," and subsequent releases, is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 and 19th, as are Pharrell, Kid Cudi and Skrilex. A highly-praised newcomer to the genre, Chance the Rapper, will be a part of the April 13 and 20 show dates. Tickets go on sale at the official site here this Friday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. PST for the show which will be held in Indio, California.
