Coachella 2014 lineup announced: Outkast, Muse, and Arcade Fire to headline

Way earlier than last year, we finally know who and what we will be feasting our eyes upon this coming April. Both weekends have been cemented and the lineup has been revealed, with Outkast, Muse, and Arcade Fire headlining with major acts Queens of the Stone Age, Skrillex, Beck, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Replacements all grabbing sub-headline spots.

The biggest shocker might be how shocking the additions aren't: the girl power trio is there (Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Lana Del Rey), the reunions are timid, and the electronic is hard and heavy as usual. A few of the rumors did not end up coming true, as The Pixies didn't make the first cut and Daft Punk still will not be returning to the desert for another year. A few rock acts make the list, with Motorhead and Anti-Flag representing those with guitars and amps. Empire of the Sun is bringing their lavish stage, as is Chromeo and whatever Duck Sauce has in store.
