The Coachella 2013 lineup was finally released on Thursday night via Twitter and along with many big name bands, Coachella is featuring recently-reunited acts. According to MTV on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, the Stone Roses, Blur and the Postal Service are among the acts getting back together and doing a set at Coachella this year.
Phoenix, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are a few of the other reunited bands that have also signed on for the Coachella venue this year. Coachella will once again take place over two weekends in April, which will be the weekends of the 12 - 14 and 19 -21. The music covers many different generations as the venue offers sets from veteran artists like Lou Reed to newer bands like Social Distortion.
In all more that 160 artists have signed on to play at the 2013 Coachella. MTV points out that the rumor of the Rolling Stones, Daft Punk and Justin Timberlake making an appearance, turned out to be just that, a rumor. The list of acts is vast and the complete line-up is listed here at the Coachella 2013 official website, along with all the information for purchasing three-day passes for either weekend. Coachella takes place in Indio, California.
