Coach Ray Harper and other WKU athletes attend Jesus Prom

Jesus Prom 2012, Paint the town Red,  was a huge success. Guests were given "star treatment" including limo rides and  having their hair and makeup done. Tattoos and face painting were also available. The paparazzi was in full force and Mitchell Moments supplied each guest with a professional picture to take home.

With the theme this year being Paint the town Red in support of Western Kentucky University, honored guests were treated to a Big Red surprise. The WKU Baseball team, basketball team (including newly appointed Coach Ray Harper), and football team was on hand to sign autographs and dance the night away. Also appearing were WKU Ladies Basketball team members, cheerleaders and Big Red himself.

Games, such as corn hole, were set up, concessions were available, and a live DJ took requests to ensure that everyone enjoyed themselves. T shirts that had "Jesus Prom 2012"  on them were given to each guest as a memorandum of an unforgettable night.

Although Hillvue Heights went above and beyond to make this night a fun one, they also wanted to spread the love of Jesus. Their desire, was answered. Towards the middle of the night, a baptism took place. Chills, tears, and a thundering applause followed the Jesus Prom baptism.

Jesus Prom 2013 is already in the works. Next years' theme will be "Shine". The formal event will take place at Hillvue Heights Baptist Church on February 1,  2013. Mark your calendars, you will not want to miss it!
