It was reported on Monday evening that Coach Allen was glad to be back at work after the bye week, and that the Raiders were getting ready for the Steelers set to be played on Sunday in Oakland.
First of all, Coach Allen did not mention any of the injured. He blatantly told the press that he was not going to release the injury list until after Wednesday’s practice.
Second, he did tell the press that the offensive line had a lot of injuries and that it was something the team is working on.
Coach Dennis Allen did add that the backups will be trusted and will do their jobs out on the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
The Oakland Raiders’ coach added that some of the guys, the starters, from the offensive line are going to be back, but the coach did not mention who they were.
The Raiders were back at practice and no one took the day off on Monday. As the Raiders’ coach stated during the press conference on Monday, no one got the day off and they were all there to get ready for the Steelers.
The main concern is the fact that the Steelers always have a good pass rushing game, so the offensive line has to beef up and be ready by Sunday.
In the end, Dennis Allen made sure that the Oakland Raiders were preparing for the match against the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a bit vague about everything else.
One thing can be said here for the coach regarding Sunday’s game: Just win baby!
