Just this evening, Sept. 14, 2013 (Philippine time) Bamboo Manalac, one of the coaches of the most popular reality singing competition on national TV, "The Voice of the Philippines," had won Php1,000 on "Deal Or No Deal," the game show that continues to give lots of money to lucky contestant every Saturday night.
A lot of viewers were expecting him to win bigger amount because he had a very good start, but he failed to do it when he opened the cases that contains much bigger prizes. Bamboo, along with his Team on "The Voice," played and hoped to get the bigger amount for the foundation, it just so happened that they were not that lucky to give them more than what they really wanted.
While he was playing on "Deal Or No Deal," the fans took to Twitter and made a barrage using the hashtag #DealOrNoDealwithBAMBOO. Bamboo started his career in showbiz when he built the group called "River Maya," the best local band during the 90's, but because of some issues, they parted ways after several years of being together.
Today, he is one of the biggest stars in music industry. "The Voice of the Philippines" is making him busy aside from his regular appearance on "ASAP 18" every Sunday afternoon. He's working so hard on "The Voice" not for himself but for the hopefuls that really want to win.
