Today, Pacific Brewing Laboratory announced via Twitter that co-founder Patrick Horn will be leaving the brewery.
He is leaving to start a new brewery, and details will be unveiled in the coming days. No word if it will be San Francisco based, but I'll update you as soon as I hear.
Bryan Hermannsson will likely continue to run PBL for the time being. A request for comments to both Patrick and Bryan was not immediately returned.
Here is the announcement in full from Patrick:
As of Wednesday, March 13, 2013, I will be leaving Pac Brew Lab to start a new brewing company, and I look forward to telling you all about this new venture in the coming days and weeks. It has been a pleasure having you all as supporters and fans, and I look forward to introducing you to the new company. Pac Brew Lab was a great first experiment in the beer business, and I'm excited about my next step.
From this date forward, please direct all questions and concerns regarding Pac Brew Lab to Bryan.
Here's to hoping Pac Brew Lab stays afloat and continues to put out great beers, and a new brewery comes to life in the San Francisco scene.
I wish nothing but the best to both Patrick and Bryan in their future endeavors.
