The Loving Healing Press (LHP) based in Ann Arbor, MI, has produced many healing and uplifting books in categories like non-fiction, self-help, memoirs, health, fiction, and poetry. More recently, the children’s books produced by the press have seen a wider recognition in and outside the US.
A token of appreciation for the press’s quality of publishing children’s books came recently from Children’s Neurological Solutions (CNS) Foundation. CNS Communications and Program Coordinator, Lindsey Wiltse, wrote a blog on the foundation’s website to acknowledge them.
Wiltse named a number of titles for children published by the press including I'm Not Weird, I have Sensory Processing Disorder by Chynna T. Laird, My Friend Suhana: A Story of Friendship and Cerebral Palsy by Shaila Abdullah, and such empowering books as Cinderella's Magical Wheelchair, The Princess and the Ruby, and What Do You Use to Help Your Body? – all by celebrated Canadian author and model Jewel Kats.
“Loving Healing Press publishes books for children that address so many of the issues that are not prevalent in mainstream children's stories that are still important to address, both within and outside the community. These texts are a must-read for anyone with or without an affected child!”
Loving Press continues to add to its volume of helpful books for children. A few of the upcoming children’ titles include Jenny & Her Dog Both Fight Cancer: A Tale of Chemotherapy and Caring by Jewel Kats and Don’t Rush Me: Caring for Siblings with Sensory Processing Disorder by Chynna Laird.
