Taking creepy to the next level ...

Arguably the number one anchor of the floundering Cable News Network (CNN), Anderson Cooper made a point of discussing his mother's penchant for oral sex during a live broadcast, much to the head shaking amazement of all sides of the political spectrum, as reported by the right-of-center Mediaite on Dec. 26, 2013 as well as the left-of-center Huffington Post on Dec. 27, 2013.

Cooper, seen by many in the homosexual community as a trailblazer of the media-tagged "new normal" of the American cultural landscape, was discussing Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's antics with syndicated homosexual "sexpert" Dan Savage during a live panel discussion of some of the more outlandish news stories of 2013.

For some inexplicable reason, Savage burst out "I love a good cunnilingus joke on the evening news."

For an equally inexplicable reason, Cooper found fit to inject his soon to be nonagenarian mother Gloria Vanderbilt into the conversation. Bursting with pride, Cooper related a past experience where is mother compared one of her bevy of sex partners to the early 20th century Polish/Russian ballet danseur Vaslav Nijinsky.

My mom once wrote a romance memoir about men she had dated–and I use that term loosely–and she described one guy she was currently dating––my mom was 85 at the time––as the Nijinsky of cunnilingus. And she made me proofread the book!

Cooper's retelling of the intimate details of his mother's sex life brought uproarious laughter from panelist Andrew Sullivan, British-born writer best known for his past nominations for the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Magazine Article, as well as the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Men's Studies.
