On Feb. 26, CMT revealed details on CMTpress.com about a special episode of “CMT Crossroads” that will feature OneRepublic and Dierks Bentley. They will appear together to share mash-up harmonies during the one-hour special that’s set to air on CMT on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10 p.m. EST and PST. It will mark OneRepublic’s first ever collaboration with country superstar, Dierks Bentley. Together, they will perform OneRepublic’s hits “Counting Stars” and “Good Life,” plus Bentley’s “Up on the Ridge” and “I Hold On.”

In 2007, OneRepublic released “Dreaming Out Loud,” which featured their smash single “Apologize.” It shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide. In 2009, the band’s second album titled “Waking Up” included three hit singles: “All the Right Moves,” “Secrets” and “Good Life.” “Native,” OneRepublic’s third studio album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and included the hit songs “Feel Again,” “Lose Myself” and the No. 1 sensation “Counting Stars.” Beginning on Feb. 28, OneRepublic heads out on an international tour that kicks off in Berlin, Germany and winds through Europe. Their first concert in the United States is set for May 29 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. The tour will then wind throughout the country with added stops along the way, as posted by “Billboard.”

Dierks Bentley, known for mixing elements of modern and classic country with bluegrass and rock, is a singer-songwriter who has released seven albums that spawned ten No. 1 songs. His latest, “Riser,” dropped on Feb. 25 and is the first album since the death of his father and the birth of his son. Throughout his storied career, Bentley garnered 11 Grammy nominations, a slew of country music accolades, and an invitation to join the Grand Old Opry. He will kick off his headlining Riser Tour on May 9 in Charlotte, N.C. As posted by Radio.com, a new film called “Dierks Bentley: Riser” takes an intimate look at the singer’s life over the past two years. It aired on Saturday on CMT.

To see OneRepublic and Dierks Bentley perform together for the first time ever, be sure to tune in to “CMT Crossroads” on Friday, March 21 on CMT. For a preview, head to this YouTube link.
