CMT posted, BREAKING NEWS! #SweetHomeAlabama is back for a fourth season! Get ready to fall in love, y'all. — with Andrew Glassman and Michelle Hankins Gust. They also shared a photo of season 4's leading lady.
At this point, all we know about the latest bachelorette is that her name is Kelsey Dee Smith. According to her Facebook page, she graduated High School in Alabama, and now attends college there. It looks like she has competed in pageants and possibly models.
Though the Alabama girl fits the profile of a bachelorette that is going to cause some tears, break some hearts, and make one man happy in the end, fans have expressed that they were hoping Bubba Thompson would be the featured individual this season. In case you didn't tune in for season 3, Bubba was definitely one of the fan favorites. Paige Duke ultimately chose Jeremiah James Korfe at the conclusion of the season, but knew Bubba was quite the catch as well. Ever since the season 3 conclusion, fans had been holding out hope that the chivalrous cowboy would be the next one calling the shots.
Season 1 featured Devon Grissom who chose Adam Moyer. Tribble Reese who was one of season 1's contestants became the season 2 bachelor. Tristan Smith was his final lady standing.
'Sweet Home Alabama' can be described as the countrified version of 'The Bachelor/The Bachelorette.' The star of each season gets to choose whether they ultimately want a country or city mate. They have an equal amount of choices of potentials from each background. Of course, the city and the country contestants often clash throughout the season. Like every reality dating show, there is usually a villain....and that villain usually gets their claws into the object of everyone's affection....at least until the truth comes out.
To meet Kelsey's suitors, tune in to CMT on Friday, November 8 for the season 4 premiere.
