Like a beautiful swallow returns to Capistrano, our Lindale, Texas girl, Miranda Lambert is returning to her native Texas with her first CMT headling tour, the “Miranda Lambert Revolution. The 28 city, nationwide tour began on September 29th in New York City. Along with CMT headliner Miranda, are two of Texas’ golden sons, Eric Church and Josh Kelley. Miranda’s “Revolution” Tour will be the ninth annual tour for CMT. Produced by AEG Live, previous CMT tours have featured such superstars as Jason Aldean, Trace Adkins, Sugarland, and Brad Paisley. Keith Urban, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, and Rascal Flatts. We salute you CMT, for all you’ve done for Country music and for bringing Miranda (if only for a while) back to Texas!
To Country Music fans, the name “Miranda” stands firmly on it’s own and everyone knows who that is without question. Texas singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert has been rightfully crowned with top female CMT and ACM honors earlier this year. With her humility and gratefulness, Miranda accepted these honors and accolades with the grace of a Country Music princess. (Thank God that Kanye West has not decided to switch to country!)
Miranda Lambert knows what this responsibility means – delivering the live performances to her audiences with even more power and talent than ever before. In a statement given to CMT interviewers, you can immediately tell that Miranda has not lost that sense of pride in her roots beginning, hard work and love for her fans, "Having that Texas club circuit experience at an early age and also touring with some of the best in the business for several years, I know what it takes to bring it every night and give fans more than their money's worth," says Lambert. "The CMT tour" is a great way for me to thank fans for their support this year and show them I can live up to the honors."
In Miranda's interview with CMT “The new Loretta Lynn tribute album coming out in November closes with a gorgeous rendition of Lynn's "Coal Miner's Daughter," which she sings with Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow. Lambert recently told Rolling Stone of Lynn, "She told me I was feisty!" Now, you don't get Loretta Lynn calling you names unless you've earned it. And Lambert's certainly earned it.”

Ford Arena, Ford Exhibit Hall and Ford Midway opened in fall 2003, with Ford Arena selling out its inaugural event. The 8,500 seat multi-purpose Ford Arena is the home to ABA Southeast Texas' Mavericks. The Arena also hosts concerts, rodeos, circuses, motor sports, ice shows and many other special events.
