“Party Down South” became a huge hit for CMT. Fans everywhere tuned in to see what the crazy eight cast members were up to and watched as they partied their summer away. Break-out stars Ryan “Daddy” Richards and Taylor “Lil' Bit” Wright have a huge following across social media. According to a March 20 report from the official “Party Down South” Facebook page, the show will be back for a second season in June. Fans are excited to see what the cast has been up to since filming Season 1.
The Season 1 finale of “Party Down South” just aired and the announcement of Season 2 just broke. It has been speculated for quite some time now, especially with reports of Floridians being upset about filming in certain cities. While the location has not been confirmed, fans are almost positive it will take place in Florida. All eight cast members will return for Season 2.
The network has decided to air a two-part special over the next two weeks. Fans will get to see all the cast members sit down and talk about Season 1, and things get a little heated. CMT has decided to keep “Party Down South” in the same time slot on the same day. Season 2 will kick off on June 5 at 9 p.m. CT on CMT.
