CMA Fest: Country's Night To Rock highlight special to air on CMT

CMT will air a one-hour special featuring highlights from "CMA Fest: Country's Night To Rock."

The show will broadcast on Friday, August 8, at 11:00 pm EST. A repeat showing will begin at 9:30 am on Sunday, August 10.

Artists scheduled to appear include Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, and The Band Perry. Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood team up for a duet of their summer smash, "Somethin' Bad." Reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year Little Big Town serve as hosts.

Fans can unlock performances not shown on the television special by posting "#CMAFest" on Facebook and Twitter. The bonus videos include performances by Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, and Florida Georgia Line.

CMA Fest benefits the The CMA Foundation's Keep the Music Playing Campaign. Over nine million dollars have been raised to date. The funds have been used to supply instruments and musical equipment for every Metro Nashville Public School.

"As Nashville's largest event, CMA Music Festival continues to offer new experiences and keep our visitors coming year after year," said Nashville Mayor Karl Dean.

According to a press release, four-day ticket packages sold fifteen weeks in advance of the June 2014 event. Nearly eighty percent of available seats are already sold for the 2015 festival.
