CMA Awards 2011: Carrie Underwood spoofs Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian

There is one final element of the 2011 CMA Awards from Wednesday night that we have yet to address -- and it have everything to do with some of the biggest stories out there at the moment in pop culture.

During the opening segment of the show Friday night, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley (with some help from "Modern Family" actor Eric Stonestreet) helped to riff on some of the biggest issues hitting the tabloids at the moment. Among the highlights?

  • Kim Kardashian getting blasted at just about every turn.
  • Justin Bieber getting thrown in here for those bizarre paternity accusations.
  • Taylor Swift's dating life getting skewered.
  • Eric Stonestreet trying to carry a tune next to two giants in country music.

At the end of the day, did you think that this segment (which you can see to the left of this article) was funny or a bit harsh?
