The WWE is reportedly upset by the appearance because they feel if Punk could go all the way to Los Angeles for the filming, he could have at least met with WWE officials when the promotion came to Chicago for Monday Night Raw last week.
Additionally, the WWE doesn't know if Punk will address his contract situation or anything else regarding WWE matters.
That sense of uncertainly absolutely bothers officials from the WWE, a promotion Punk walked out on following last month's Royal Rumble.
CM Punk will appear on this Sunday's edition of AMC's post-show for The Walking Dead in a segment called "Talking Dead."
He will apparently be appearing by his real name, Phil Brooks. The WWE has no idea what he will say on the show, and that scares them.
Host Chris Hardwick could easily bring up the topic with Punk, and it's unclear at present time if he'll discuss the matter on television.
In other interesting CM Punk news, former UFC star Ken Shamrock made headlines this week for his comments about the wrestler.
Shamrock thinks Punk has no chance at success if he decides to enter the UFC. He believes Punk would be better off working at the regional level and slowly advancing to the top.
