CM Punk pulled from all upcoming WWE events, details inside

Some very interesting news coming out of WWE this morning as former World Champion CM Punk has been pulled from all upcoming WWE event advertisements. has a very good, lengthy piece on the situation, which you can read here.

What we know for sure is Punk was not on Raw Monday night and did not appear at last night’s Main Event and Smackdown taping in nearby Toledo, Ohio. With the road to Wrestle Mania under way, WWE not having Punk in the fold is sure to change up the plans for the biggest show of the year.

Punk spent over 50 minutes in the Royal Rumble Sunday night match after entering No. 1 before being eliminated by Kane (who was not in the match at the time). Punk’s current deal with WWE runs through July so if he is in fact gone from WWE (which some reports suggest), don’t expect to see him wrestle anywhere else between now and mid-summer.
