CM Punk not in attendance at WWE Wrestlemania 30

According to an Apr. 6 report from Newsday, Wrestlemania 30 is now in the books and CM Punk was nowhere to be found at the event.

Punk, 35, was rumored to be appearing at Wrestlemania 30, especially after Stone Cold Steve Austin hinted that he wanted to fight him.

Unfortunately for WWE Universe, Punk was not at Wrestlemania 30. Does this mean Punk is done with the WWE for good?

Only Punk knows for sure, but things are not looking good for his return at this point. If Punk was to return, it likely would have been either when the WWE came to his hometown of Chicago last month, or tonight at Wrestlemania 30.

Since Punk wasn't at either event, it seems pretty clear that he's done with the WWE for now.

Punk walked away from the WWE following this year's Royal Rumble, but he has now had three months to rest up his body and get back to work.

Despite the long layoff, Punk hasn't appeared at any recent WWE house shows. He's also apparently not on speaking terms with any current WWE superstars except for his girlfriend, WWE diva AJ Lee.

While Punk wasn't in attendance at Wrestlemania 30, the event went off without a hitch. Besides Hulk Hogan botching the name of the Superdome in the opening segment of Wrestlemania 30, it was all good from there on out.

Hogan met Stone Cold Steve Austin and Batista inside the ring in the opening minutes of Wrestlemania 30, and the next segment featured Daniel Bryan defeating Triple H.

Later on the Wrestlemania 30 card, Brock Lesnar snapped The Undertaker's 21-year Wrestlemania streak and Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
