Current WWE champion CM Punk thinks that if Brock Lesnar returns to the WWE, it would be great business for the company. However, Punk doesn't think that Lesnar wants to come back because of the demanding work schedule and the traveling. Punk also feels that Lesnar would not have the patience to deal with people backstage. According to a Thursday January 26th report by MMAFighting.com,. Punk made the following comments about Brock Lesar:
"I just don't think Brock has the personality. He'd just wanna punch someone in the face. I'd welcome Brock back. But I don't think Brock wants to come back. He did his time here (WWE) and in MMA and he was great at both. He doesn't like the road and doesn't like people. Me and him have a lot of similar traits with a hatred for everybody."
It's well documented that Lesnar did not like the wrestling lifestyle especially the road schedule. If he were to come back, many feel that it would most likely be just for a one shot deal at WrestleMania. However, I believe that if WWE would give Lesnar a lucrative deal similar to The Rock's deal, then Lesnar would be more open to multiple appearances.
Punk's assessment of Brock is pretty accurate especially with Lesnar's lack of tolerance for backstage politics. Lesnar could easily end up striking a WWE official backstage and cause a highly publicized lawsuit.
