Clymer Gallery to hold classes in Spokane this spring

This spring, Clymer Gallery of Spokane will be holding a variety of arts and crafts classes.

  • April 6 - Simple Beaded Bracelet ($30)
  • April 20 - Robot Vinyl Toy ($56)
  • May 18 - Two Color Block Printing ($48)
  • May 4 - Multi-Drop Earrings ($44)

Clymer Gallery is co-owned by Keely Honeywell and Travis Cadez. Together they have several years of art education and craft DIY experience. They are currently without a space of their own so classes are held at a few Spokane Country libraries. That will not likely be the case for long, though, as they have a lot of plans in the works.

Their web page states, "What we envision is an arts and DIY community workspace, where everyone can learn from structured classes and mentors and work on personal projects with tools and equipment provided. With our own workspace we would be able to teach more classes using equipment and/or processes we couldn't otherwise use in a meeting room, such as screen printing and soldering. Our space would also be open to shows and events."

Visit their web page to sign up for classes or to learn about their plans for this exciting community workspace. Contact Keely Honeywell (keely@clymergallery.com) directly for more information or check out their Facebook page.
