Cloudy and unsettled for most of the upcoming week

A weak cold front will drift southward across the area today, then stall across central Ohio on Monday. The front will then move back north across the area as a warm front on Tuesday. A prolonged period of cloudy and unsettled weather is expected through mid week.

Today, it will be cloudy with a chance of a rain shower. Highs will reach the low 40s. Winds SW 5-10 mph.

Tonight, cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers. Lows will be around 30 degrees. Winds SW around 5 mph.

On Monday, it will be cloudy with a chance or rain and snow showers. Highs will be around 40 degrees. Winds S around 5 mph.

Monday night, cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers. Lows in the low 30s.

On Tuesday, it will be cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s.

Looking ahead: On Wednesday, a stronger system will begin to take shape over the mid Mississippi Valley. That system will head to the Great Lakes on Thursday, dragging a cold front eastward across the state Thursday night. Colder air will spread across the region on Friday.

On Wednesday, it will be cloudy with a chance of showers. Milder with highs around 50.

Thursday, cloudy with rain likely with highs climbing to the low 50s.

Friday, rain likely, possibly changing to snow during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 40s, with temperatures falling during the afternoon.
