Clouds lingering but not as cold on the last day of 2012 (Video)

High pressure will move offshore today ahead of an approaching frontal system, allowing temperatures to be a bit warmer than yesterday with clouds lingering. A series of frontal systems will then bring several shots of cold air this week with some scattered snow showers.

New Year’s Day – Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers in the morning, then gradually becoming partly sunny. High 28-32. Winds west between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of snow 20 percent.
