Clouds and stars mixed, a milder night in store

Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Synopsis,
A mild night is in store as a warm front lifts through the region keeping some clouds around and a southerly breeze. Tomorrow will be very mild ahead of an approaching winter storm. Tomorrow's highs will approach the lower and even middle 60s for some. Tomorrow night a front will slip South combining with a low pressure that will strengthen quicky and draw cold air down from Canada. Rain will transition to snow by morning Wednesday with snowfall amounts generally around 1 to 3 inches some locations South will see less and North of I-70 will see more. This is all still dependent on the exact track as this will determine how fast the change over occurs. Winds will gust to 45 mph with falling temps so any precipitation on the ground will freeze rapidly by Wednesday afternoon and night. Temps by Thursday morning will be in the single digits and wind chills near -10 for some.

Long range:
Mild air returns quickly Friday before another cold shot comes late in the weekend followed by a few days of colder air.
