Hazardous Outlook:

Several rounds of rainfall through Sunday and previous snow melt could result in some high water issues with area streams and lakes. Stay tuned for possible flood watches.

There is considerable weakening of the atmospheric conditions above an arctic high pressure system over Northern Siberia and Alaska this usually indicates a split of air flow around the high pressure letting cold air move south rather than being bottled up under the high. This means that the cold air under the high has the possibility to move in waves SE towards the lower 48 as a result a strong arctic air outbreak is possible late next week. The coldest air of the season could be felt lasting into mid February. Stay tuned for further updates.
