Cloud 9 Lounge has become one of the hottest spots in Hartford in little over a year. The ambiance is hypnotic, soulful and sensationally grown and sexy. When you walk into Cloud 9 Lounge you forget that you are in Hartford and become automatically transformed into a New York or Las Vegas state of mind. Its smooth setting is laced with colorfully lit dim lights, sheer curtains dance throughout the place to add a seductive camouflage setting leading into each room. Kerson Raymond the owner of the luxurious night spot adds another perk to the place. He is so charismatic and his personality is genuinely welcoming. From casting calls to launch parties, weekend celebrations, and celebrity visits Cloud 9 Lounge hosts it all. And once again has found a way to turn a regular night into a spectacular event. On Wednesday night Cloud 9 opened up its doors to host an event called, “Soul Sessions”. Gathering some of the hottest soulful, R & B talent in Hartford to put on a breathtaking show; hosted by Hot 93.7 personality E-Boogie the night quickly went from a intimate gathering to a full fledge concert.

The live band “Notorious” once featured on BET’s106 & Park; blessed the stage putting on a show of their own. Their keyboard players incorporated choreography into their performance and serenaded the crowd with some special ballads. They accompanied the guest performers as they showcased their original and mainstream music. The show was phenomenal with CT’s finest Anaya, Melissa Perez, Laree Salmon, Henry Smith and Ru Williams one could not expect anything less than greatness.

The show was truly a must see! The easy-going atmosphere created a great environment to be on a Wednesday night and a nice way to get over the “hump day” madness.
