Cloth Diaper Chronicles: Earth Friendly Disposable Diapers

Is going full on cloth diapering a bit to much for you but still want to keep those chemicals off your babies bum?  Try out some more Earth friendly disposable diapers.  I've personally only tried one but I've found a couple different brands and intend on trying them all out.

  • Seventh Generation Diapers:  Just a little bit more expensive than your Pampers but WAY better.  I didn't have any problems with leakage, even the poop stayed where it was suppose to!  They are chlorine free and have nearly no chemicals.  You would think this means that they wouldn't hold up, but they do.  They do tend to run small so be careful of that.  And that weird chemical pee smell that you get with Luvs, Huggies, and Pampers, well Seventh Generation did not have it AT all.  Since I still like to have some disposables on hand for certain situations, these will be the ones that I will be purchasing.
  • Wholefoods Private Label 365:  Not much is said about this diaper but it is chlorine free and sold at Wholefoods.  Here's one Mom's thoughts on these diapers.
