Clive Owen in Paris

Actor Clive Owen will be in Paris at 8 p.m. tomorrow Feb. 7 at the Jaeger-LeCoutre Place Vendome boutique for the "Crown Jewels of the Ocean" event. Clive Owen will join filmaker Jacques Perrin, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoutre, Jerome Lambert, Publisher of the International Herald Tribune, Stephen Dunbar-Johnson and Unesco general director Irina Bokova to talk about the partnership between the private sector and member states of the United Nations that since 2010 has raised more than $3 million to defend marine sites from underwater pollution.

The short film "The Crown Jewels of the Ocean," narrated by Jacques Perrin will show during the event while interactive stands will display the 46 sites under management by the partnership.

Clive Owen, Ambassador to the Aegis Trust in 2011 and recipient of the 2011 Unesco Humanitarian Award for his work for victims of the Rwanda massacres will join talks on the topic of marine conservation with Jacques Perrin, Irina Bokova and Jerome Lambert. After the general meeting beginning at Unesco headquarters at 4:30 p.m. the evening celebration begins at 8 p.m. the Jaeger-Le Coutre Place de Vendome and is scheduled until 10 p.m.
