The Los Angeles Clippers are approaching the conclusion of their five game homestand tonight as they take on the San Antonio Spurs at 7:30 p.m.

The Clippers (37-18) are currently fourth in the Western Conference standings and could move up a spot with a win tonight. Clippers forward Blake Griffin put up 38 points including 19 field goals made in a record shattering All-Star Game this past weekend. Clippers guard Chris Paul added 11 points off the bench for the Western Conference despite a 163-155 loss to the Eastern Conference.

Clippers guards J.J. Reddick and Willie Green will likely sit out tonight’s contest with both players suffering from a sore right hip.

The San Antonio Spurs (38-15) have lost five of their past ten games, but boast the best road record in the NBA at 20-7. Tonight, they will play the first of a back-to-back game on the road. The Spurs are led by Tony Parker, averaging 17.7 points per game and Tim Duncan, averaging 10.0 rebounds per game.

This past weekend, Spurs guard Marco Belinelli became the first player in Spurs history to win the 3-point contest at NBA All-Star Saturday night in a shootout against the Washington Wizards’ Bradley Beal.

The Clippers and Spurs met twice thus far this season, splitting victories at one game apiece. Both teams are coming off a break from the regular season with the NBA All-Star game this past weekend and are looking to win the tie-breaker in tonight’s matchup.
