Clippers Face Raptors at STAPLES Center Tomorrow Night

See also

On Friday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Clippers will take on the Toronto Raptors at STAPLES Center.

With a tightly competitive Western Conference, the Los Angeles Clippers (34-18) know every game is critical as they compete in the second of a five-game homestand. The Clippers currently hold a home record of 20-4 and hope to improve that record before the hitting the All-Star break in mid-February.

The Los Angeles Clippers look to get back on track after suffering a loss to the Miami Heat yesterday at home. Clippers forward Blake Griffin scored season-high 43 points and pulled down 15 rebounds while Clippers guard Jamal Crawford added 31 points.

The Clippers will likely be without Chris Paul who went down with a separated right shoulder Jan. 3 against Dallas.

The Toronto Raptors (26-23) are also looking to bounce back after dropping a game yesterday against the Sacramento Kings on the road. Toronto currently sits in third place of the Eastern Conference standings behind Indiana and Miami. Los Angeles native, DeMar DeRozan currently leads the Raptors with 22.0 points per game and will participate in his first All-Star Game later this month in New Orleans.

Both teams met just a couple of weeks ago, which resulted in a 126-118 win for the Clippers on the road despite 51 points from Raptors forward Terrence Ross. The Raptors will look to return the favor tomorrow as they battle it out at STAPLES Center.
