A Las Vegas attraction since the ‘70s, three time Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year Clint Holmes, will be performing the first weekend of every month at his new home, Cabaret Jazz inside The Smith Center for the Performing Arts beginning April 6, 2012.
Clint Holmes, the son of a jazz musician and an opera singer, is a native of Hampshire, England. He is perhaps best known commercially for his 1973 hit Playground In My Mind, a song he recorded as a duet with Philip Vance, the son of the album’s producer, Paul Vance. The song reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1973 and remained there for 23 weeks earning a gold record.
Thanks to an impressive repertoire of music, Holmes promises a different show every night with music ranging from contemporary to Broadway, and features some of the greatest songwriters of all time.
Named Singer of the Year four times and awarded the Sammy Davis Jr. Foundation award, Clint Holmes is a welcome addition to the Cabaret Jazz theater at The Smith Center.
Tickets start at $35 and can be purchased by calling The Smith Center box office at 702.749.2000, or by ordering online at thesmithcenter.com
